Following Nemechek (son of NASCAR veteran driver “Front Row” Joe Nemechek) to the drop of the checkered flag were Tyler Reddick finishing second, Timothy Peters third, Daniel Suarez fourth and Johnny Sauter (who led the most laps – 52 out of 150) finished fifth.
The current series points leader and ROTY candidate, Erik Jones, claimed sixth-place, while Kyle Larson finished seventh, ROTY candidate Spencer Gallagher eighth, Matt Tifft ninth and John Wes Townley brought home 10th-place.
With his sixth-place finish, Erik Jones leaves Chicagoland with a 10-point lead over Tyler Reddick.
